Thanks to the Jewish kids book club we somehow got signed up for this year (thanks Aunt Jamie!), Noralee was well-prepared and looking forward to Rosh Hashonah this year. She's been reading "Apples and Honey" for a few weeks now, and has all her greetings down pat. She also enjoys saying 'Tekeiah" and making a shofar sound (or laughing while Mom and Dad make a shofar sound). But, she was most looking forward to grossing mom out by putting raisins in the challah.
We tried to get her to reflect on the past year, but she was more interested in dipping apples in the honey.
Oh well - we'll get another chance in a few days with Yom Kippur to get her to repent for her sins against others (i.e. giving her cold to mom, pulling dad by his hair when she wants him to get out of bed, calling Aunt Michelle 'Uncle M').
Check out this amazing challah Helen made! She's a natural!
Oh, and just to remind us that Noralee is also amazing, watch her spell and sound out a word from her book!
