Kevin's parents were in town last week to celebrate Passover and Dad's (Grandpa to Noralee) 65th birthday. It was the first Passover for Noralee and Sophia, whereas Becca is an old pro. Becca's really good at singing "Dayenu." Noralee even wore her special parsley outfit. Don't worry, we didn't dip her in salt water. The seder was really nice and perhaps the start of a new family tradition. And yum! Matzoh ball soup! Haroset! Gefilte fish!
Unfortunately, Noralee got sick and had to go to the doctor over the weekend - but she's doing a lot better now. At one point her temperature was over 103 degrees - closer to 104 - and the advice nurse at Kaiser told us that we didn't need to worry unless the baby was "over 105 degrees or if she was seizing." Huh. That's not very reassuring, is it? But Noralee is fine now. We're giving her antibiotics for a small ear infection -- now the pain is all on us since she hates the medicine but we still need to give her the 10 day course. Her fever is gone and she's as good as new (or as good as almost 8 months). She looks pretty cute convalescing, doesn't she?
