Kevin, Noralee, and I took our first family vacation last week in Philadelphia. Getting through security and flying was a bit of a harrowing experience (never mind the bit about packing for six days) -- it may be a while before we conquer air travel again. Luckily the flights were uneventful - Noralee was so good on the flight out that people in the row ahead of us didn't know we had a baby with us.
Noralee's highlights from the trip:
- touching all the buttons on the airplane
- bathing in a real bathtub
- playing tag team champions with Auntie Courtney
- "touching" the Liberty Bell
- eating fresh tofu for the first time at Morimoto (oh, Noralee will forever be spoiled now!)
- playing on the hotel bed with Mommy
- seeing all five squares of Philadelphia with Daddy
- sleeping at Dunkin' Donuts while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed their goodies- playing on the hotel bed with Mommy
- seeing all five squares of Philadelphia with Daddy
- enjoying sunshine and brunch at Rittenhouse Square
- grrrrowl with polar bear
- making friends at Independence Hall (Noralee got a big "awwwww" from the crowd)
