Noralee is six months old! She had her six month scheduled doctor's appointment today, which included her latest round of shots. At Kaiser, it's all pretty regimented - Noralee sees the doctor, Noralee goes and gets her shots. We're having her do all of them - the State of California legislates which vaccinations kids need in order to start school anyway, so there's really no reason not to get her vaccinated (although others will argue that there are reasons to pass on some of the shots). Her doctor's appointment was fine - Noralee is (still) small for her age (13 pounds, 4 ounces). Her doctor is great, by the way -- very gentle and plays with Noralee while examining her.
I'm going back to work on Monday. I'll be in the office four days a week and at home on Fridays. I'm sad about spending less time with Noralee although we think the nanny, Shagun, will be wonderful. Noralee will also be gaining a little playmate, Shagun's daughter Nicu.
More to come this weekend in terms of updates. But, we know you just come here for the pictures. So enjoy --

FYI, California is one of the few states that allows philosophical exemptions for required vaccines as well as religious and medical reasons.
