Kevin's birthday was pretty mellow this year. We have enough going on with buying a house and moving, selling a house, and just keeping up with our normal routines. On Kevin's actual day, we went to an Afghani restaurant so we could properly experience Fremont before we move away, and then later in the week, the siblings and cousins came over to celebrate. We made Grandma's chicken fricassee, which the adults enjoyed but none of the kids really did (oh well). Grandma's coffee cake was a hit all around, of course.
